Visiting Schedule with Guy

Hi everyone -

Yesterday many PayPal people had and opportunity to visit Guy. Thanks to everyone for stopping by! I spoke to Guy's mother this afternoon and he very much appreciated seeing everyone. However, the crush of eager well wishers was also very draining for him. We are requesting that all future visits by PayPal folks be coordinated through Jerry Smith so that we can schedule visits in such as way as to not overly tire Guy out.

His surgery for today has been postponed until tomorrow so he will be able to receive some more visits this afternoon. If you are interested please contact Jerry so that we can schedule you.

Thanks,
Ethan

Guy,

I am really sorry to hear about your accident. Ashley and I have been glued to this blog everyday waiting for the updates. It doesn’t surprise me at all that you’ve seen the extraordinary outpouring of emotions and well wishers from friends, colleagues, and family. You are the type of leader that draws people together and makes an impact on their lives. Your strength in the face of adversity is laudable and inspiring. Unfortunately it is at these times in our lives that our true character stands out and you’ve undoubtedly proven the makeup of yours.

I wish you the best in your recovery and will continue to monitor this blog for future updates. Thanks to everyone who participated in setting this up and maintaining the posts.

Get well soon,
Mike Fisher

Hi Guy,
I wish the best and have you and your family in our prayers. I knew that you were a strong person, but this is remarkable!! Your spirits give me the strength and puts life in perspective to keep on going and that nothing is impossible with your drive ^_^.
Rest up!!
Take care,
Tami

Nick Stanev and I (colleagues at PayPal) stopped in to see Guy this afternoon and wish him well on his surgery tomorrow morning. We had the pleasure of meeting Guy's brother. Guy was in good spirits and even had a slight smile at times. I offered to get him my Seinfeld DVDs to watch, but he told us that comedies are not a good idea right now because when he laughs it hurts!

All the best Guy! You're mental and physical strength are amazing.
