I'm in (Guy)

Hello everyone,

It is with great satisfaction that I'm posting my first entry in this blog. I want to start by telling all of you how wonderful I think this blog is. It has evolved from a notification mechanism to a vibrant and supportive community. During each day at the hospital, I had an hour of joy as my family members read me the notes posted by you from around the world.

As for myself, you all know that a lot has happened in the last 4 weeks. I've gone through surgeries and the way my day to day looks like is a lot different. There have been some great improvements compared to where I was a few weeks back. However, the road ahead is still long; I still need to recover from the surgeries I've had and will most likely need to go through more surgeries. I still don't know when I'll be back to work, it remains to be seen how things go, so I'll keep you posted.

In the meanwhile, please keep posting! I will be posting as well and will try to share some of my experiences with you all.

Again, thank you for being there for me, it means so much to me.

-Guy

Guy, Adi,

Greetings from Israel. We're visiting the blog from afar to follow your recovery, Guy, and hope to see you much better when we're back.

How is Shira doing? Please let us know if there is anything that we could bring or do for you.

Feel better and see you soon,

Tammy & Tal

Hello Guy,

It's so good to hear directly from you! I promise to drop by next week. My work has been crazy as well as home. My son's 6th birthday is this Sunday and we're hosting an open-house type birthday party. So many people generously gave for his dog including you! Thank you.

Can I bring you anything when I visit next week? It sounds like Tim and others are taking good care of the GuyPod stuff. Maybe something for your daughter or wife?

Thank you for being an inspiration to all of us with your story and recovery. See you soon.

Guy, my dear brother,
It's great to hear from you!
It's amazing to have you finally join this mechanism after being able only to listen to it. Congratulations on your first blog. Wow! That is just phenomenal!!
Love,
Asaph.

Yeah! You're back in action. It's good to see you typing again. I hope the keyboards helped.

I've got a baby boy now. Ismail. :-) Weird.

Also, I'm a bit under the weather, but when I heal up, it'd be great to see you!

Guy,Adi and Shira,
Great to hear that Guy is doing much better. We are sure it is as great relief for Adi (and Shira who missed her Dad, for sure).
We will be coming to the bay area in the summer and hope we can arrange for a visit.
Take care, :)

Hi Guy!
It's great to hear from you! I stopped by on Thursday afternoon and had a nice chat with your mother-in-law. It was fun to practice my Hebrew. I hope to come by again soon - maybe late next week.
See you soon,
Sarah

I am looking forward to seeing you again soon...thinking of you often.

Guy,
at the moment i'm at Saba and Safta's, to be with them for a few days until the holiday. it's one of the few times i have access to a computer, and i've been in lockdown at my Sheen-Sheen for the past two-and-a-half weeks.
All three of us (Saba, Safta and i) are sending you love, have a happy and healtheir holiday, and we miss you very much... Safta asked me to tell you she regrets she can't be closer to you these days.
They are doing all around well (though they both have a bit of a cold), and they never get tired of hearing good news from you.
Get well quickly!
