Guy is recovering from yesterday's surgery in his own room in the ICU. His family was able to visit him at 8 am this morning and they will be spending the day with him. He is understandably tired from yesterday's prolonged procedures but he remains mentally alert and sharp as always. He is communicating by writing his responses out on paper because his jaw is wired shut and his fingers are too swollen to use a keyboard.
Adi will be providing further updates on his condition later this afternoon or early evening.

טוב שגיליתי שאפשר לכתוב גם בעברית. הבלוג הזה ממש נהיה חלק מהעיסוק היומיומי שלנו, גם כדי להתעדכן וגם נחמד לקרוא הערות של אנשים אחרים כמו הרשימה של אסף שאפילו הצחיקה אותי. ולענייננו- בתור נציגת ישראל אני יכולה לספר שההקלה פה היתה גדולה לאחר ששמענו את תוצאות הניתוח, למרות שבטח אתה הותשת לחלוטין במשך ארבע עשר שעות, אבל העיקר התוצאה החיובית. בקרוב גם אבא וגם אסף יגיעו אליך ואז אני בטוחה שהאווירה המשפחתית קצת תקל על המועקה ותרים את המורל של כולם, למרות שאני שומעת שכולכם שומרים על מורל גבוה וגם אפילו מריצים צחוקים. אבל ככה שאסף יגיע לפחות הפעם אם תתחרו על מי סוגר את הפקק של הקולה הכי חזק אז הוא ינצח, מגיע לו פעם אחת לנצח, לא? לגבי ההסבר שהבטחתי על הספר של מורדילו- אחרי שהחלמת בבית מתאונת האופנוע נתת לי את הספר בתור הוקרה על העזרה שלי בשיקומך ואני מאוד הופתעתי כי לא היה לי זכור שעשיתי משהו מיוחד, אבל הספר הזה איתי עד היום והוא אפילו פה בדירה בתל אביב.אחלה ספר. זה קצת מוזר לכתוב בבלוג הזה כי אני לא באמת יודעת אם אתם קוראים את התגובות וזה קצת כמו לכתוב מכתבים מבלי לשלוח אותם, מעין דו שיח עם עצמי. בכל מקרה, יקריי, אני שולחת לכם שחקני חיזוק, תראו לכולם מה משפחה חזקה ומאוחדת יכולה לעשות, וכולנו יודעים שהיא יכולה לנצח כל דבר.

I was both shocked and deeply saddened to hear about what happened to you.
