Guy, we're thinking of you at the push!

Push night is upon us, and we're here in the War Room reading the blog and thinking of you. We'd say we wish you were here, but what kind of thing is that to wish upon someone?!

We do wish that Ethan was here. ;-)

Best wishes: The PayPal 45.0 Push team.

Hey I was just thinking the same thing - "wish you were here on push night Guy" but trust us you are not missing much!

Hope your surgery goes very well today. We will be looking for updates later in the day...

Also - Hee Jung and I were wondering if you had a DVD player there? I can't remember seeing one yesterday. I know you have the video ipod but may be nice to have a bigger screen. Next time you are up for guests I will bring mine by with some DVD's we thought you might enjoy.

Thinking of you today as you have your surgery.

All - with Guy's surgery today, his family has requested no visitors. We anticipate that he will be up for visitors tomorrow (Friday, 3/9).

Guy, my brother,
I am with you now at the hospital watching very closely. It's a bit strange writing to someone you can actually see next door to you or one flight of stairs away. You surprised us all today when you actually went for your daily walk without your life support. For a moment there I didn't even noticed the wheeled column was gone as you looked so natural without it, something close to what I know you to be. All are sympathizing with your pain and frustration. You cough through the trake and then you are plagued with hickups that last forever...
As people already know, Guy's surgery is going to take place tomorrow at 10am instead of today at 4pm. Therefore, Guy would be happy to see people today as he prepares himself for surgery tomorrow morning. Guy would prefer seeing two or three people at a time so he could attend to each and every person here as best as he can.
I want to take the opportunity and thank all folks who came over yesterday and insisted on seeing Guy. As Ethan mentioned, Guy is very moved by his visits. He endulges on every single moment he's dealing with people who truly care and that was pretty evident yesterday.
Guy, as Ethan pointed out, is very concerned with how people deal with this horrible display or event. He wants to know that people are cognizant of the effects that such a trauma can potentially have on us. He wants to know that we keep talking about it with our loved ones and keep finding meanings in our lives that explain and translate this episode in away that is pallatable and understood.
Also, thank you for all those who join us on board this blog and started writing. Keep up the work.
Love you Guy, and see you in two minutes as I walk into your room.
Asaph.
