Quick Update for Monday

On Saturday evening Guy was transferred from San Jose Regional Medical Center to Stanford Hospital. He was placed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as an extra precaution to provide the best monitoring of his condition. The ICU has strict rules on patient visits and they are asking to limit it to only immediate family for now.

Guy's mother and Adi's mother flew in from Israel on Sunday to provide family support for Guy, Adi and Shira.

Facial surgery will likely occur on Wednesday as the doctors need a 10 hour window to perform their magic. They will be making the necessary preparations which include ordering many different sizes of titanium plates and bolts. Guy will not only be handsome when they are finished but also bionic.

The hospital gave Guy a computer today and once he found out that he wasn't going to have surgery until Wednesday, he immediately started trying to communicate with the outside world with two broken arms. Typing is still a challenge and Matthew is working on getting Guy a split keyboard to facilitate Guy's addition.

Adi, Matthew, Erin and I will be adding more information to keep family, friends and co-workers updated. Please feel free to add comments as Adi will be reading them to him daily.

Guy,our dearest theater friend,

Your sweetness and great smile is very much missing in our group. Your warm and kind words in your last email are the most encouraging ones and I send you back a big hug and prayers for you to join us back real soon!!! Please let us know anything we can do in order to make it easy on you and your family. Hang on there and wish you all the luck in the world!

Hi Guy and Adi, Alona here.
I can't possibly imagine how you are feeling right now, but hopefully, soon, things will change for the better.
I'm sending you my love and huggs, wishing you an easy-breezy surgery and wanted to let you know how I miss you and think of you each day. my close friends are keeping tabs on you Guy, and are rooting for you. I heard you are dealing with your condition with much humor, and can't help but think that there is nothing more like you in the world than to do just that.
keep your spirits up,
alotta love from us all (Natan, ima Noa and myself)
Alona :-)
